You care deeply about preserving Baltimore's natural areas and believe green space is fundamental to community health and equity.
You're based in or deeply connected to Baltimore. You understand neighborhoods and prioritize equitable decision-making.
You have experience in governance, fundraising, law, marketing, operations, finance, or conservation. Ready to contribute strategic skills.
You listen, learn, respect diverse perspectives, and believe strongest ideas come from working together with people different from yourself.
You're willing to dedicate 6β8 hours per month and support fundraising. You believe in putting resources where your values are.
You're ready to roll up your sleeves, ask hard questions, and help shape our organization's direction.

Board service is meaningful but manageable:
We're flexible: If your schedule changes, let's talk. We work with board members to find solutions.
Standard service: 2-year term, renewable for one additional term (4 years maximum).
There is no mandatory minimum. We believe board service should be accessible to everyone.
Make an annual gift at whatever level feels meaningfulβ$100, $1,000, or $10,000. Size matters less than demonstrating personal commitment to our mission.
